Throughout my career I've enjoyed working with individuals of all ages, as well as with couples and families since 1998.
I hold a Ph.D. in Family Psychology from Seton Hall University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University.
In addition to my formal education, my work has been shaped by advanced training at the TRISP Institute (Training & Research for Intersubjectivity and Self Psychology), where I am currently a member. I have particular experience in treating both men and women who struggle with relationship issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. My research and area of specialization explores how these issues, often as an outcome of trauma, affect relational health, adult development, gender-specific treatment and resiliency throughout the lifespan.
In addition to my private work, I have the privilege of serving on the Board of P2L: Pathways to Leadership. P2L is a New York City based not-for-profit organization that works in collaboration with United Way as a provider of Attendance Impaired Drop-out Prevention services (AIDP). These school-based interventions are provided in the form of counseling, mentoring, family therapy, creative arts therapy, and therapeutic youth development activities.
Whether you’re seeking individual or couples therapy, I offer a compassionate, expert-guided space to help you feel supported and understood, resulting in
lasting change.
